110 CHEFS – 88 MICHELIN STARS ARE GATHERING IN GUANGZHOU IN THE NAME OF GASTRONOMY ON MAY 8TH 2018
Organizer of the Sirha trade show, the Bocuse d’Or and the International Pastry Cup competitions, and the “Dîner des Grands Chefs”, GL events has become the specialist of gastronomy events around the world. At the occasion of the Bocuse d’Or Asia-Pacific selection held on May 8th and 9th at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, Olivier Ginon, president of GL events, has invited international top chefs to attend an exceptional dinner, with the complicity of the City of Guangzhou and Lingnan Group.
The Grand Chefs Dinner has always represented a high-quality and demanding event. The main theme of the dinner is always to celebrate friendship, passion, and the joy of sharing between the best chefs of the world.
For its first edition in Guangzhou, China, this unique dinner will be hosted at the Garden Hotel Guangzhou, one of the only three platinum five-star hotels in China, on the evening of the May 8th 2018. The event will take place in presence of Jérôme BOCUSE (President of the Bocuse d’Or) and will gather 110 chefs from the entire world, representing 88 Michelin stars, among which: Kim BYOUNG JIN (Gaon***, Korea), Yoshiharu KAKINUMA (Sushi Shikon***, Hong Kong), Kirkley MATTHEWS (Coi’s***, USA), Bruno MENARD (Bruno Menard***, Singapore), Emmanuel RENAUT (Flocons de sel***, France), Marc VEYRAT (La Maison des Bois***, France), Guy LASSAUSAIE (Guy Lassausaie**, France), Christophe PAUCOUD (Lugdunum Bouchon Lyonnais*, Japan), Sakal PHOEUNG (Le Corto* & Annam Fine Food, Vietnam), Stefan STILLER (Taian Table*, China), Guillaume GOMEZ (Elysée, France), Nicolas LEBEC (Villa le Bec, China) and Christian TETEDOIE (Restaurant Têtedoie*, France).
Representing the excellence of the world gastronomy, the dinner will be orchestrated by the 3 Michelin-star chef Paul PAIRET (Ultraviolet***, Shanghai). In the kitchen, the brigade composed of Arnaud DUNAND SAUTIER (Le Normandie**, Bangkok), Alvin LEUNG (Bo Innovation***, Hong Kong), Hisamitsu HATAJI (Kai Katei, Japan) and Clément AYACHE (Pastry Chef from Le Comptoir de Pierre Gagnaire, Shanghai) will propose exceptional dishes for an historical and convivial moment, celebrating Guangzhou as an outstanding gastronomy destination.

The cocktail of the dinner will be held on the lobby of the Garden Hotel from 6.30pm to 8.00pm in the presence of the chefs and is open to the press and Medias.
